Can anyone get on Fort Moore? ›

All visitors will be subject to a background check before allowed to enter the installation. You can pick up your visitor's pass at the Visitor Control Center (Lindsey Creek Parkway/I-185).

Access will be granted for those with a valid reason to be on base after a favorable background check is completed based on the scan of your ID. A temporary paper pass will be issued showing the dates the pass is valid for. Show this pass along with your photo ID at the gate for entrance to the base.

A visitor pass can be issued for up to 90 days for all non-DoD personnel. A security-vetting process will be completed on each non-DoD individual prior to receiving a visitor pass. This includes all non-DoD passengers riding in a non-DoD person's vehicle.
